The City Of Ember

I predict that some one will find the instructions by accident, and not tell any one about it. I think the theme is a city that is under ground and needs light throught the day but the city is low on electricity and they need to find a way to stay alive if the city is ever to run completely out of energy. This connects to my life because nowadays, we also need to use less electricity because of global warming. I would change the fact that the children get jobs when they're 12 because at 12, they are still children and they should live like a child. I thought this book started out very well. It really got you hooked on by the time you read the first page. I can't wait until we read more!!!
